Office removals in Ilford

A commercial premises holds four quite different kinds of thing, and each of them fails in its own way if nobody has thought about it beforehand.

01
Desks and furniture

Dismantled where necessary, rebuilt at the plan position

So the space is usable the moment the last vehicle leaves. Pedestals and cabinets travel with contents secured rather than emptied into cartons.
02
IT and screens

Boxed by desk position, moved last

A workstation has to arrive as a workstation. We lift and move; your IT provider powers down and brings back up. Doing both ourselves would be the wrong kind of confidence.
03
Stock and shelving

Crated in a merchandising sequence

For the High Road units this is the bulk of the job. The order matters more than the speed — you want to set the new space out line by line rather than opening everything.
04
Records and archives

Boxed, sealed and logged

With a chain of custody you can point at if anyone asks. Where records go into storage, they go in listed rather than stacked.

And the building decides the rest

Out-of-hours admission, service lift, loading bay and security contact are set by the two managing agents rather than by us. Everything above is planned backwards from whatever window they give you, which is why we ask for both agents before quoting.

Office removals — questions

Out of hours?

That is how most business moves here run — evenings and weekends, and usually the only time the building and street are available.

Will we lose a trading day?

That is what the planning prevents. Coding and labelling are done before the move starts and the new premises are set out to the plan.

Do you handle the IT?

We move it; we do not decommission or recommission it. Servers and racks are lifted in coordination with whoever maintains them.

Crates?

Supplied and delivered in advance, coded to the floor plan, collected once you have unpacked.

We are a shop.

The stock is the difference and the sequence matters more. It is a large part of what we do along the High Road.

Storage for the overflow?

Containerised and listed on the way in, which matters far more for business records than for a household.

Moving the business?

Send both addresses and the name of each managing agent. The window is the first thing we establish.
