Ilford Removals IG · East London

Areas we cover

The IG postcodes, and the roads around them

Six entries. Wider than one town because Barking and the Woodfords carry real work of their own, and still narrow enough to mean something.

01
Ilford
IG1
The High Road, the Exchange and the terraces running off Cranbrook Road and Ley Street. Dense, well connected, almost entirely controlled parking.
02
Goodmayes & Seven Kings
IG3
Long terraced streets with a very high incidence of loft conversions and side returns. Volume regularly exceeds what the listing implies.
03
Gants Hill & Newbury Park
IG2 / IG6
Interwar semis, wider roads, driveways and garages. Easier at the kerb, heavier in total.
04
Barking
IG11
Terraces, post-war estates and substantial riverside development. Newer blocks run booked lifts and reserved bays; older streets run permits.
05
Woodford & South Woodford
IG8 / E18
Larger and more detached stock than anywhere else we cover. Bigger jobs, longer approaches, and frequently a move out of London.
06
The east-London edge
E7 / E11 / E12 / RM
Forest Gate, Leytonstone, Manor Park and the Romford side. Worked because they border us, not claimed as patches of our own.

And where we send you instead

Saying no to work that belongs to somebody else costs us a job and saves you a bad one.

London as a whole

A move starting and finishing outside the IG postcodes belongs to a firm built for the capital.

The neighbouring patches

Our network has sites built for individual districts with real local knowledge in them.

Out of London

The A406, the A12 and the M25 are close. One job, one crew, both ends.

Coverage — questions

Is one part of the borough dearer?

No. Access changes the figure — driveway against permit street, loft conversion against none, stairs against ground floor. Postcode does not.

Why include Barking and Woodford?

Because both carry real work of their own and both border us. It is a wider list than a single-town site would have, and still one we can stand behind.

Half in Ilford, half not?

Normal, and ours. Either end being in the IG postcodes is enough.

Romford or Forest Gate?

The roads that border us, yes. For a move entirely inside either, our network has sites that know them better.

Anywhere in the IG postcodes

Send both addresses and a rough idea of what is coming. Access matters more than the postcode.
